These steps work whether you are selling a firearm, ammo, an accessory, or apparel.
1. Start a new product
Go to Store Products and click Add new product (or use the + New shortcut in the top bar).
2. Fill in the basics
Product name. What customers see on the storefront and in search results.
Product description. The full description shown on the product page. Use the editor for formatting, images, headings, and lists.
Product short description. A 1 to 3 sentence summary used at the top of the product page and in some listing layouts.
3. Set price, stock, and FFL
Open the Product data box below the description and fill in:
General › Regular price. What you sell it for. Add a Sale price if you want a strikethrough discount.
General › Requires FFL Checkout. Check this if the product is a firearm. It routes the order through the FFL compliance flow at checkout.
Inventory › SKU and Stock. Optional but recommended. Manage stock so the product goes "Out of stock" automatically when you sell out.
Shipping. Set weight and dimensions if the product ships physically. Skip for services or downloads.
4. Add images
In the right sidebar:
Product image. Main image shown in catalogs and search.
Product gallery. Additional images shown on the product page.
5. Categorize and tag
Use Product categories, Product tags, and Brands (right sidebar) so customers can find the product through filters and navigation.
6. Publish
Click Publish at the top right. The product goes live immediately. To preview before publishing, click Save draft then Preview.
What to do next
If you sell firearms, the next critical step is Setting up FFL checkout.
