My website is not loading correctly

Pages take forever to load, the layout looks broken, images are missing, or you get a white screen. Work through these checks in order.

1. Check your internet connection

Open another site like google.com. If that is also slow or broken, the problem is your connection, not Gunly.

2. Hard reload the page

Browsers cache files aggressively. A normal reload may serve you stale broken assets.

  • Windows / Linux: Ctrl + Shift + R

  • Mac: Cmd + Shift + R

If that fixes it, clear your browser cache fully so it does not happen again. Then verify in an incognito window.

3. Try a different browser

Open the same page in Chrome, Edge, or Firefox. If it works in one but not another, the issue is your main browser (an extension, a corrupt profile, or an outdated version). Disable extensions one by one until the page works.

4. Confirm if customers see it too

Some issues only affect logged in admins (cached admin bar, broken admin scripts). Open the same URL in incognito where you are not logged in. If it looks fine there, customers are not affected and the issue is local to your session.

5. Check for a recent change

If the site was working an hour ago and broken now, the most likely cause is a recent change. Check:

  • Did you just update a plugin or theme?

  • Did you change something in Customize › Theme Settings or Customize › Storefront?

  • Did you add a new code snippet or custom CSS?

Revert the change and reload. If the site works again, you found the culprit.

6. Check if everyone is affected

Ask a coworker or a customer to check. If only you see the problem, it is local. If everyone sees it, the issue is on the server side.

7. Contact us

If none of the above fixes it, message us in the chat from admin or open a ticket from Help › Support. Include:

  • The exact URL that is broken.

  • A screenshot of what you see.

  • The browser and OS you are using.

  • Anything you changed recently.

We will check our side and get back to you fast.
