A stock count is off, an order is missing, prices are wrong, or a product is showing data that does not match what you set. Work through these checks.
1. Hard reload the admin page
The admin caches API responses to feel fast. A normal reload can show stale data. Hit Ctrl + Shift + R (Cmd + Shift + R on Mac) to bypass the cache.
2. Confirm what you are looking at
Sometimes the issue is filters or view settings, not data.
In Store › Sales, check the Date range at the top and the status filter. An order may exist but be filtered out.
In Store › Products, check the search box and category filter at the top of the list.
In Marketing › Analytics, set the date range explicitly and refresh.
3. Check the product itself
For product data (price, stock, description) open the actual product and confirm the values are saved.
Click the product in Store › Products.
Check Product data › General for price.
Check Product data › Inventory for stock.
Confirm there is no scheduled sale price still active.
Click Update even if you did not change anything, then reload.
4. Check for sync delays
If a distributor sync is enabled (Lipseys, RSR Group, Sports South, and so on), inventory updates can take up to a few hours to reflect on your store. Sync happens on a schedule, not in real time.
If a product was sold elsewhere and the distributor stock dropped, your store will catch up at the next sync.
5. Check order status
If an order looks "missing," it may simply not be in the status you are viewing. Check On hold and Pending payment in addition to Processing. Use the search to find by order number, email, or customer name.
6. Check user permissions
If a teammate cannot see data you can, their role may not have permission. Customer and Subscriber roles see almost nothing in the admin. Confirm their role under Help › Users.
7. Contact us
If the data is genuinely wrong after these checks, message us in the chat from wp-admin or open a ticket from Help › Support. Include:
The order number, product SKU, or page URL.
A screenshot of what you see and what you expected.
When the change should have happened (timestamp if you have it).
We can check our logs and confirm what the database is storing.
