Understanding your store analytics

Analytics show you what is selling and how your store is performing over time. Find them in Marketing › Analytics.

The overview

The Overview page gives you the headline numbers for a date range:

  • Total sales and Net sales.

  • Orders placed.

  • Products sold and Variations sold.

Each number shows the percent change versus the previous period, so you can see trends at a glance. Charts below plot net sales and orders over time.

Change the date range

Use the date range selector at the top to switch periods, such as month to date or last quarter, and to compare against the previous year. Every report updates to match.

Leaderboards

The Top products and Top categories leaderboards show your best sellers for the selected period. Use these to decide what to reorder and what to feature on your storefront.

Detailed reports

The submenu has focused reports for Products, Revenue, Orders, Categories, Coupons, Taxes, and Stock. Open any of them for a deeper breakdown, and use Download to export the data.

Tips

  • Check the Stock report regularly to catch low inventory before it sells out.

  • Watch the Coupons report to see which promos actually drive revenue.
