Adding tracking to an order lets the customer follow their package. The tracking details appear in the completed-order email and on the customer account page.
Add a tracking number
Open the order in Store › Sales › Orders.
Find the Shipment Tracking panel.
Choose the carrier from the list, or pick Custom Provider if yours is not listed.
Enter the tracking number, and the ship date if you want.
Save, then set the order to Completed.
When the order is marked Completed, the customer gets the email with the tracking link included.
Splitting a shipment
If an order ships in more than one package, you can add multiple tracking numbers to the same order.
What the customer sees
The customer receives an email with the carrier name and a link to track their package, so they can check delivery status without contacting you.
